Dream Beach, Hurghada: reviews, access and practical tips
HurghadaStays · Launch planned for 2027
Planning a future stay in Hurghada?
Looking for a beach in Hurghada for a few hours without arranging a Giftun trip? Dream Beach is an option in town. Tripadvisor lists it on Sheraton Road. Choose your day by considering atmosphere, total cost and admission conditions as well as the photographs.
This guide uses a sample of reviews consulted on 18 September 2026 alongside original planning advice. Reviews describe individual experiences; they are not an on-site inspection or a guarantee of current services.
What visitors enjoy
In June 2026, Josie F praises the beach, welcome and entertainment. That is useful context if you prefer a lively atmosphere to a completely quiet day.
Check the context of each review: several describe a hotel stay too. Comments about rooms or a meal package do not automatically describe what an outside visitor receives with beach admission.
Access: confirm the correct entrance
Save the full name and listed address, then ask which entrance day visitors should use. Dream Beach and Old Vic are separate venues in the guides consulted. Do not use their names interchangeably when giving your driver a destination.
Plan your return and keep your accommodation address available offline. Confirm opening hours for your date, the last admission time and whether you can leave and come back.
Prices and promotions: get a clear total
In March 2025, Kheira396 reports a mismatch between an expected promotion and admission on arrival. That older account does not establish today’s policy, but it shows why written confirmation helps.
Before travelling, ask for adult and child rates, any offer’s conditions and required documents. List what is included: lounger, umbrella, towel, shower, drinks or food. A photograph of an old promotion is not confirmation for your date.
Compare the complete cost: return transport, admission, meals and chosen extras. Read menu prices before ordering and keep your receipt.
Music, comfort and sales approaches
In March 2026, Sascha D criticises noise, lounger cushions and approaches selling treatments. These are personal observations, not a permanent assessment of the venue.
If quiet matters, ask about entertainment times and the area furthest from speakers before settling in. Check your lounger’s stability, cushion and shade; request a different spot if needed.
Politely decline services you do not want. Before accepting a treatment or activity, confirm its price, duration and inclusions. Ask reception for help if approaches continue after you have declined.
Food and drinks: check the day’s rules
After two visits in July 2026, jennicorb describes an inconsistent dining experience. That does not establish the quality of every meal; it is a prompt to make your order clear.
Ask which sides come with your dish and whether drinks or extras cost separately. Explain dietary needs before ordering.
A September 2022 review mentions restrictions on outside food and drinks. That information is old: confirm the current rules, especially for drinking water and children’s needs.
Children and access needs
In June 2026, Rebeca O mentions stairs and a crossing towards the beach during a hotel stay. The route for outside visitors may differ.
Ask about the exact route from your drop-off point to your lounger, toilets and the water. Explain if you have a pushchair or need step-free access. A photographed path does not establish accessibility for everyone.
Follow marked swimming areas and staff instructions. Check what supervision is present that day and continue to supervise children yourself.
How we suggest deciding
Consider Dream Beach for a day in town with a potentially lively atmosphere. If you need quiet, particular equipment or step-free access, get specific answers first.
Before paying, confirm four things: the full cost, inclusions, available seating and the day’s rules. If those answers do not suit your plans, choose another option before committing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Dream Beach free? The guides consulted describe paid day admission. Confirm current rates and offers directly for your party.
Do I need a boat? Not for this beach in town. Mahmya and Orange Bay on Giftun are different outings.
Do reviews show current conditions? Dated, contextual reviews highlight questions to ask. They do not replace recent confirmation from the venue.
Compare our guides to Mahmya, Orange Bay and Public Beach Number 9 while planning your stay. HurghadaStays is preparing to open accommodation bookings for 2027.
